The last total Lunar Eclipse on the Winter Solstice was in the 1600's! The next they believe will be in 2094. From what I found there are 12 stages to a Lunar Eclipse as listed below with the times (PST) that each was too start. I have plenty of photos from it but only till the half way point in which I finally went to bed.
Stage 1: 9:29pm - moon enters penumbral shadow
Stage 2: 10:13 - penumbral begins to appear
Stage 3: 10:33 - moon enters umbral shadow
Stage 4: 11:23 - 75% coverage of moon
Stage 5: 11:37 - near-totality
Stage 6: 11:41 - totality begins
Stage 7: 12:17am - middle of totality
Stage 8: 12:53 - totality ends
Stage 9: 1:10 - 75% coverage of moon
Stage 10: 2:01 - moon leaves umbra
Stage 11: 2:20 - penumbral shadow fades away
